Lynda Boyd

This Gemini award winning actor, singer, dancer and musician, starred opposite Diane Keaton in the Lifetime TV movie "On Thin Ice", Owen Wilson in "I Spy", and Dan Ackroyd and Dave Thomas in "Intern Academy".  She can be seen opposite Amanda Bynes and Julie Hagerty in the new Dreamworks feature "She's the Man", and is a series regular on the new ABC Family Channel/Global series "Falcon Beach". Her performance as an ex-junkie in "Cold Squad" garnered her a Gemini nomination for Best Female Guest Star. Lynda also received a Blizzard Award (Manitoba Film Award) for her performance in "Nights Below Station Street" as well as the prestigious Jessie Richardson award (Vancouver theatre's top honour) for her work in Brad Fraser's "Poor Superman". Boyd also penned three episodes the series "You Me and the Kids" of which she was a series regular and her short film "arbor vitae" which she wrote and directed debuted at the 2004 Rhode Island International Film Festival.
