Luigi

Beautifully framed limited edition print number 95/125 37"W X 27" H. This is the last available print from this series.

Artist Bio: Will Rafuse, born in Calgary, Alberta, has had a passion for art from a very early age. Although his education at Capilano College in North Vancouver led to a career as an illustrator and computer graphic artist, he soon decided to pursue oil painting full-time. Working exclusively in oils, Will is best known for his bold use of color and the ability to give both personality and vibrancy to the subjects he paints. The slightly animated twist of his characters has led to the popularity of his art for those youthful and young at heart. Although inspired by many, Will admires the work of Modigliani, Gauguin and Balthus. His signature style can be recognized in galleries, movies, television shows, and in both private and corporate collections worldwide. His art has a universal appeal to those who are looking to add a light hearted, witty image to their environment. Since 1997, Will has been published by Canadian Art Prints Inc. with over 75 images produced and distributed to over 50 countries. His recent venture into the merchandising market producing clocks, plates, coasters, napkins and calendars featuring his imagery, has been very succesful.

Carcross Summer

Framed serigraph #156/165 (31.75"W x 24.25"H) by Ted Harrison

Artist Bio: Ted Harrison is one of Canada's most popular and beloved artists whose love of the land and people of the Yukon has brought him national acclaim. His distinctive painting style is colourful and sophisticated yet retains an innocent charm. Considered one of Canada's most prominent artists, Ted's work underwent a transformation when he arrived in Carcross, Yukon in the fall of 1968. The vast and awesome beauty of the Yukon landscape challenged the artist to push the boundaries of tradition and what emerged on his canvasses was an explosion of colour and undulating lines that was all his own. Ted has now become synonimous with the Yukon and when one thinks of one the other immediately comes to mind. In 1987, he was awarded the Order of Canada. He has an Honorary Doctorate from Athabasca University and also an Honorary Doctorate in Fine Arts from the University of Victoria. His work is cherished in private and public collections throughout Canada, England, Australia, New Zealand, the U.S., Germany and Japan.

Tuscan Scene

Beautifully framed and double matted open edition print (33"W x 39"H). This fabulous piece, by Canadian artist Philip Craig, would enhance any room!

Artist Bio: Canadian artist, Philip Craig has never been far away from pencils, paper or the smell of paint. Encouraged by his parents, he attended specialized art programs in Ottawa, eventually graduating from the prestigious Sheridan College of Art & Design, in 1971. After graduation, Philip returned to Ottawa to assume a position with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation as a television graphic/set designer. In 1976, after becoming their coveted art director, the CBC moved Philip, Diane and their young family to St. John’s, Newfoundland. The isolation and stark beauty of this rugged island enabled Philip to produce a series of successful exhibitions, which ultimately led to the decision that he would give up his design career and take up painting full-time. His original work currently sells for upwards of $15,000.
