A graduate of the Vancouver Playhouse Acting School, Ellie spent several years in a love affair with theatre. With the Vancouver TheatreSports League Ellie performed thousands of shows as one of the company's most successful players. Then came TV. After lots of small roles Ellie got a big break playing “Morticia” on The New Addams Family. Ellie has been a recurring guest star on such shows as Stargate Atlantis, Terminal City, and The L Word.  She has guest starred on such shows as Smallville, Chaos, Eureka and has performed with the likes of Kim Basinger, Kelsey Grammer, Adam Sandler and Arnold Schwartzenegger. Ellie was nominated for two Gemini's and has been nominated for 5 LEO's, winning twice.

Exploding into the drag scene and making her mark at this past Entertainer of the Year 2011, Sienna Blaze has been busy performing at various venues around the Lower Mainland. The experiences under her belt on the international stage as a dancer and circus performer - Sienna Blaze brings the glamour, the creative edge, a wickedly rocked out style and choreography to her performances. She is excited to share the stage with Vancouver’s finest and be apart of this years Fit for a Queen. Get ready boys and girls... its Sienna Blaze!!

Kristina, although relatively new to the scene has established herself as someone to keep an eye on. Awarded the title of Entertainer of The Year 2007/2008 and winning the crown of Miss Odyssey 10, Kristina is definitely on the rise. Love for the spotlight, starting at birth, plus an incredible thrill, derived from entertaining the crowd, has pushed her to newer, bigger, better things each time she hits the stage. Kaitlin Chapple is an accomplished dancer and model in Vancouver and performs in a wide variety of styles. Kaitlin is currently producing her own events in the city, as well as taking opportunities in live performance and film. She has performed in many large scale events and venues including Vancouver Pride Events, the Edgewater Casino, Vancouver Fashion Week, ECO Fashion Week, and more. She can most recently be seen as a dancer in Nickelodeon's TV Series 'The Troop'. Kaitlin is very excited to be back on stage at the River Rock for this year's "Fit For a Queen"!

Jessica has trained with many well known choreographers both local and abroad. She has trained in Ballet (RAD), Jazz, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Contemporary/Modern, Tap and Hip Hop. She graduated from the Langley Fine Arts School in 2008 and danced in the opening of the B.C. Country Music Awards (2005); she has also performed in Disneyland and has movie credits which include John Tucker Must Die (2006). Jessica has taught for various studios throughout the Lower Mainland and her choreography has won awards and high scores at local competitions and festivals.

A consummate professional, Hope has performed on stages, big and small, for many years now. Always a crowd favourite, Miss Diamond’s inimitable stage moves have thrilled thousands. And no, this is not simply a beautiful face mouthing the words to a compelling song. It’s style, it’s movement, it’s comedy, it’s fashion, it’s a damn fine coiffure – it’s Hope Diamond!

Rita has been dancing for many years. She's classically trained, but in the last 5 years has found her love for hip hop. Currently she trains with SOULdiers hip hop company and has been dancing with Project Soul. While working with Project Soul she has been able to perform in many shows around Vancouver, the Interior and Seattle. She is very excited to be working with Kendra for a second year!

Nicole Fedoruk has evolved over many years into a dynamic and focused entertainer in the arts, dancing and acting. She has danced in many local venues including PNE, Rodeo, and at Delta's Olympic venue. She has also traveled to West Edmonton mall and Disney Land to perform. Nicole was also involved in the show "Christmas with the Queens", and is looking forward to another great production of "Fit For a Queens

Being in the spotlight is nothing new for Pierson Hayes. At just 7 years old, he already had an extensive film and television resume including being the Hungry Hungry Hippos kid. From there, he started training in all areas of dance including hip hop, jazz, and ballet, and continued right through his teens training professionally. He also competed in Out TV's hit show "How Far Will You Go" which followed the lives of 12 aspiring gay models. In May 2008, he created a boylicious dance duo called The Go Go experience which eventually toured to Hong Kong, Taiwan and Los Angeles. In 2010 he danced for pop star Rosette who was the opening act for Akon at GM place.

A collection of Vancouver’s finest impersonators would not be complete without this enchanting performer. Be prepared to be dazzled and amazed! As a proud ambassador of the gay community, she is the recipient of many charitable involvement awards having held the positions of Princess 27 to the Greater Vancouver Native Cultural society and Empress 35 of Vancouver, BC. Jaylene now sits on the board of the International Court Council of the International Court System. This talented performer has graced the stages of premiere drag venues through out Canada and the USA and is featured in several ad campaigns. She considers it an honour to be a part of this annual fundraiser in support of the Shooting Stars Foundation.

This girl is truly one of Vancouver's premiere entertainers!  Best known for her brilliant impersonations of Bette Midler, Liza Minnelli and tonight - Dolly Parton, Mandy is a frequent guest performer on this city's show circuit.  A past Empress (twice!) and Entertainer of the Year, Mandy has dedicated herself for over two decades to fundraising for numerous charities and organizations.  Thank you for your continued love and support.  Have a "Fan"tastic evening!  XO

Moses started dance at 19 and has never looked back. You may recognize him as one of Canada's Top 40 finalists 2 years in a row on the hit show So You Think You Can Dance Canada. He has worked as a featured dancer and actor in such films as Nikelodeon's Spectacular, The Good Life, HBO's series the L Word, and the CW's hit series Hellcats. He has been a part of the PNE’s production of Rolling Thunder and Royal Caribbean Cruise's "Once Upon a Time/ Marquee". Moses now teaches master workshops and guest teaches at various local studios and companies.

 

 

 

 

 

Brett Owen

Since moving to Vancouver from Manitoba three years ago, Brett Owen has made a name for himself as a contemporary dance artist. Specializing in improvisation, he has performed work by choreographers including Josh Beamish, Amber Funk Barton, MaryAnne Wong, and Daelik. His own work has been showcased at BC Buds, 12 Minutes Max, The Pride In Art Festival and Dancing On The Edge. He has also appeared in music videos for Hey Ocean!, The Brandon Paris Band, and These Kids Wear Crowns.

Born and raised in Vancouver, Rina was put in Ballet as a little girl to correct posture and promote poise. Never really enjoying herself, she quit once she entered highschool. There, she joined the school dance team and found out about SOULdiers - a local Hip Hop company. After graduation she ended up working different restaurant jobs, making enough money to take classes at dance studios and join the group. Ever since, she has immersed herself in Hip Hop culture, and rigorously trained in all aspects of Hip Hop dance including Funk styles like Locking, Waacking, and Popping. Hungry to make it in the dance industry, Rina also trains in Jazz, continues with Ballet, Dance Hall, and is always looking for more styles to incorporate into hers.

Michelle Sieklucki is a new face to the world of dance. Although new, she has performed in both Canada and the United States. Fit for a Queen is the first major show she has been in outside of her dance studio. She may not have the experience under her belt but she lives to dance and it shows when she performs. Trained in a variety of styles including: Jazz, Lyrical, Cecchetti and RAD Ballet, Hip Hop, and Stage. Michelle hopes to one day own a dance studio to train kids to be their best and follow their passion.

A Vancouver native, Christina is trained in ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, modern, tap, ballroom and stage. Christina is adding acting, and modeling into her dance career.She graduated from the Langley Fine Arts School as a dance major. She was also a member of their Esprit De Corps dance company for five years. Christina has worked on feature films such as "John Tucker Must Die" and "Center Stage 2". She has worked as a dancer in music videos with such music artists as These Kids Wear Crowns, Suzie McNeil and more. Christina also auditioned in Calgary, AB. for Season Three of "So You Think You Can Dance Canada" where she made it to the finals in Toronto. Her audition in Calgary was aired across Canada on CTV television.

The Unstoppable Conni Smudge is a past Entertainer of the Year, Miss Odyssey 2006/2007, Wonderlust Queen #1 and Mother to the House of Opulence. She is proud to say that she has been a part of Fit for a Queen since its inception. Wowing crowds with her over the top interpretations is still one of Mz. Smudge’s biggest thrills. With a million-dollar smile and a heart of gold, Raye Sunshine dominates the stage like no other queen has done before her. After being discovered by her second father, DJ Jules, her career skyrocketed with modeling and drag shows all over North America. Known internationally as "Busy Drag Queen" and "The SuperModel Empress 39 of Vancouver BC, she has showcased at all the crème de la crème events in Vancouver. With a career as a Professional Make up Artist strongly in the works, those skills are seen through out the stage, so sit back and enjoy the visuals as this performer gives you goosebumps.

Currently she holds her degree in Kinesiology & Health Science from the UBC, is the co-director of Dance Pro Convention & All That Jazz Enterprises, the owner of Flash Dance Advertising and is an active professional dancer.

A past Entertainer of the Year who’s dinner show "Dressing on the Side" sold out for five years. Symone has graced the stages of the world, in addition to performances in Vancouver at the Stanley Theatre, Vancouver Art Gallery, Plaza of Nations,  the Westin Resort & Spa  and  was the dazzling opening act for INXS during one of their Vancouver Shows.  She has also hosted several fundraisers such as Fashion Cares Vancouver and the VPS Pride Ball.   And there is more...She is a featured columnist for LOV Magazine.   Tonight she is pleased to captivate, entertain and perform for you!

Being awarded the CHANGES award for 2010 for "Changing the Face of Drag in Vancouver", Syren has graced the stages of every major event in Vancouver including the RAPTURE Pride Events, Release Saturdays, Dollicious Wednesdays, "Feather Boa", and opened for big acts such as Kristine W and Ultra Nate.

Tatiana has the stature and grace of royalty, and the stage presence of a Broadway Diva. She began her drag career in 2004, after a career as a classically trained dancer with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, The Alberta Ballet and Dance Saskatchewan. She has performed across North America, and had the privilege to raise funds for local charities in every city she has called home. Tatiana is currently the hostess of the Rhinestone Stiletto Show in support of the Mr & Miss Gay Vancouver Charities. Tatiana is thrilled to be making her Fit for a Queen Debut.

Little did she know, Abbey was sitting in a hip hop lesson that would unveil her love for dance. Since then, she has been in and out of the studio training and performing across the Lower Mainland. VIVIAN holds the titles of "Imperial Crown Princess 27", "Miss Odyssey II" ,"Entertainer Of The Year 2004" & "EMPRESS XXXIV" for "The Dogwood Monarchist Society" VIVIAN has taken some time off of performing recently and is currently teaching children Dance & Chorography at The Kitsilano Figure Skating Club and is loving every minute!!   VIVIAN is excited to be returning to the River Rock Stage and to support the Shooting Stars Foundation!!
